Dear Menlo Park Mayor Carlton and City Councilmembers:

On Saturday, April 25th, we will kick off the 14th annual Comcast Cares Day - and we hope you will join us.

Comcast Cares Day is one way that Comcast and NBCUniversal demonstrate our year-round commitment to making change happen in the communities we serve. Since 2001, more than 600,000 Comcast NBCUniversal employees, their friends, family members and our community partners have volunteered more than 3.7 million service hours at nearly 6,000 projects in communities across the United States and around the world. The Comcast Foundation has contributed grants totaling $15 million to local community partner organizations on behalf of each employee and immediate family member who has volunteered on Comcast Cares Day.

This year we have a site in your region and we invite you to join us at our local Comcast Cares Day service project at Flood Park in Menlo Park. We are expecting over 300 employees, family members and friends to be on hand to help at each site.

The event details are as follows:
Event: Comcast Cares Day
Date: Saturday - April 25, 2015
Time: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Location: Flood Park
                           215 Bay Road
           Menlo Park, CA 94205

If you or a representative is available to attend the welcome kick off around 8:30am to address the group, let us know. We also have templates for certificates if needed. If you have any questions about Comcast Cares Day and to RSVP your participation, please contact me at lennies_gutierrez_at_(domainremoved)
