Menlo Park ECR corridor study

Hi Menlo Park mayor and council members,
I routinely visit, shop, bike and socialize in Menlo Park. I take the ped/bike bridges either from Palo Alto or Stanford University to get into Menlo Park because El Camino Real has high-speed traffic. I take Caltrain, which is faster than biking, driving or walking. Yet, Caltrain is more expensive than driving, biking and walking. I bike mostly because it is convenient for me and I get exercise and socialize with friends along the way.
I support Alternative 3 because it is a visionary model for Menlo Park to model for ECR and other corridors in the SF bay area. I like the cycle track because state law supports the usage of complete streets and cycle tracks. It would be exciting to see a cycle track in Menlo Park. So, I can show my friends about it and ride on it one day. People need to get to their destinations by many forms of walking, biking, or transit on ECR. Bike infrastructure is needed, since the community hub is across the Caltrain tracks and ECR can be a better place for everyone to use.
