ECR Transportation Alternatives

As a MP resident, I deal with the terrible ECR traffic daily. During
commute times we seriously have worse traffic than any other city along ECR.

Changing the traffic usage/flow here in MP is critical, yet adding bike
lanes to the already painful MP ECM mess, would not just make it worse, as
space is lost to the bike lanes, but I suspect it will increase the number
of bike/auto accidents as frustrated drivers make driving errors that could
actually cost lives.

Why is there no alternative option that would allow bike lanes on Alma,
instead of on ECR? We have horrible traffic congestion with the small
number of lanes we currently have, and a huge volume of traffic using these
limited lanes, and a very small number of bicycles using ECR, so frankly it
makes no sense to add to the congestion and frustration in order to add a
bike lane that will get minimal use.

No sense. We need another option that does not add bike lanes to ECR.
