Measure M -

Hello -

I'm a resident of Allied Arts, and "undecided" on Measure M.

From my perspective, a lot of concern would go away if buildings couldn't
be over 3 stories, period, ever. It inherently limits amount of office
space, or any space.

So - I'd love to understand why City Council vote to limit building height
to 3 stories for all development? Wouldn't this solve most of the problem
of people fearing large office complexes, if they can't be over 3 stories?

I don't know of any building over 3 stories in Menlo Park - and I do think
that would change the character completely.

If City Council acted to limit building height, I think I would vote no on
M. But right now, I fear that every building on El Camino and then
downtown will get taller & taller over time.

Second - is there/ will there be a debate on Measure M? That would be
helpful as a resident.
