Potential Irrigation Well - Sharon Heights

I have been reading articles in the Almanac, the Nextdoor comments in my
Central Menlo Park neighborhood (started by Elizabeth Houck) and have read
the Council Staff and EQC minutes (Staff Report #14-101).

Significant studies have been done over the last 4 years on this project
and its still being pushed because it's a good idea. Sharon Heights will
pay for the well and all of the pipe to go up the hill. If we ever get
recycled water in Menlo Park, then the pipes could be used to bring that
water to the club. If Hetchy-Hetchy water is drastically cut then we would
have more for the households because Sharon Heights would have reduced
allocation. It would give Menlo Park huge flexibility in how to allocate
the water.

The MPWD thinks this is a good idea. I want to hear why they do. Then the
Council will have the facts and can make an informed decision.
