No Stop signs on Wallea Drive

This is in regards to the possible installation of Stop signs at both
intersections of Wallea Drive and San Mateo Drive. I will not be able to
attend the meeting about this on May 6.

I live close to these intersections on Cathy Place. I also attended the
meeting in 2007 regarding this issue, and the City Council voted against it
after hearing public comments. How many incidents have there been since
2007? Zero. I am strongly against installing any signs and am wondering
why this is being considered again. I've lived here for 20 years and
never had any safety issues at these intersections. At the 2007 meeting
the home owner at the corner of the intersection closest to Middle Ave
agreed to clear some of his bushes to make visibility better and it was
improved quite a bit.

I am also curious how many incidents have been reported at these locations
since they were built about 65 years ago? Have there been any at all?
How many residents are asking for signs at these locations?

Please don't install anything if there is no compelling argument for it.

thanks for your consideration,
Mark Lottor
Cathy Place
