Having lived with very high speed connections in Hong Kong, I appreciate your point. This is especially true for our Menlo Park businesses.

I have reviewed a pervious plan for bringing a higher speed loop through Menlo Park; however, the issue is the funding for such a project. If you look at the roll-out of high speed connections in the town of San Leandro last year, this proves to be a really interesting model of a public-private solution. Have a look at that, and do let us know how you think we might make it work in Menlo Park.

All the best,

I am also sick of the fact that the place that prides itself on being the place of computer & networking innovation has internet connection speeds from vendors that offer 10% of the speeds offered in countries like Korea - and the US does not figure in the top 10.

Is this something that the council would be interested in taking up as an infrastructure priority? ( I realize that there is significant financial investment required for this, and I have thought about how to make this work)
