Dear City Council members,
Several weeks ago I sent you an email about the impact of electrical appliances vs gas on carbon emissions. Attached is an article on this subject by Professor Anthony R. Kovscek, a professor of energy resources engineering at Stanford, regarding this topic. Please study this article and then reconsider your consider to ban gas hookups on certain buildings in Menlo Park. This is an important decision, and the City Council should be as informed as possible. If required, you should contact Professor Kovscek.
Best regards,
Anita Ochieano
