Annexation of Triangle (Santa Cruz Ave-Sharon Rd-Alameda)

Thank you for keeping our request to be Annexed into the City of Menlo Park
on the agenda.

Even though many of us will not be able to attend the Saturday morning
meeting, we are still very much interested in pursuing this request.

Please consider annexing our neighborhood triangle into the City proper:

We want to officially be part of the City we call our "home town".

We want to partake in all City functions and activities such as voting &
resident services.

We want to have our triangle held to City standards for building codes and
development standards.

We want our triangle held to City tree protections, lot size and setbacks.

We are willing to pay the incremental additional cost of being zoned in the
City.

We want to call the City Police Department, should such help be required.

We want to have a voice in the many City decisions open to resident input.

We want to join with neighbors on both sides of our triangle to map a
continuous flow of City inclusion.

Please consider approving resources needed to complete the Public Works
analysis, and to complete the process of requesting funds from the County of
San Mateo for road improvements. We know the County will oblige a request
from the City to transfer jurisdiction; we just need you to say "Yes"!

Thank you so much,
