Oak Grove bike lane

I'm writing to voice my support for continuing and extending the bike lane
on Oak Grove that was put into place as a pilot project. This route is my
daily commute to work, and it is much, much safer with the bike lane in
place. Many people use it, a lot of them Menlo-Atherton and Laurel students.

I think this bike lane should be extended to go all the way to Crane
street, because the abrupt switch back to parked cars can be difficult to
navigate. Putting a bike lane connecting the end of Oak Grove at Crane to
the intersection of Crane and Santa Cruz would be a good move, too. Lastly,
it would be great to extend the University Ave bike lane all the way to the
intersection with Menlo Ave in front of Draeger's, as that section of
parked cars is dangerous and difficult for cyclists to navigate.

Thanks so much for your continued attention to the needs of cyclists and
pedestrians in addition to drivers as our city evolves and progresses!
