Dear Council Members,

In light of the new library building project you are considering, I would
urge you to build to the highest green standards available.

In fact, every time I can, I will urge you to require and implement the
highest green standards available. It should be obvious to people in
positions of power, with access to quality information, that it is
absolutely irresponsible to do less. We must acknowledge that we are facing
an existential crisis. Sugar-coating it or sticking our heads in the sand
won't change the inexorable physics.
Please stand up and do the right thing. I look forward to a day when
citizens won't have to exhort their leaders to take climate seriously.

Turned off Auto-correct, please excuse unintended consequences
