Building New Libraries

Dear Menlo Park City Council Members,
I am writing to let you know that I am in favor of plans to build a new Main Library in Menlo Park, as well as a new branch library in the Belle Haven neighborhood.  Plans to build a new Main Library are much closer to being a reality and I urge you to vote in favor of proceeding with the next phase of the process.
Menlo Park has a chance to modernize our libraries to meet the changing needs of our community, and we should take this opportunity to do so.  We have a very large private donation from John Arrillaga that will give us a tremendous boost and help us to achieve our goal of modern libraries.  If we don't accept this donation, building new libraries will take much longer and cost substantially more.
