Hiring a Lobbyist

Dear City Council,

I write to seriously question and protest your offering a position to
anyone with even the most remote connection to the Trump/Mercer/Koch
regime. If nothing else, since the Mueller Investigation is far from over,
and we don't know where it will all lead, to willingly align the city of
Menlo Park with this group in any way is supremely irresponsible.
Moreover, if you really truly believe that there will even be a Huge
Infrastructure measure passed, to think that any town, city, village, road,
bridge, or country lane that does not have direct connection to a member of
this regime or its fabulously corrupt cabinet is naive at best and
delusional at worst.

The deals made with Arrillaga are bad enough, but this is ridiculous. Will
the city motto be changed to "We'll do anything for money"?
