Dear Members of Menlo Park City Council:

Bike to Work Day <https://bikesiliconvalley.org/btwd/> is fast approaching
on May 11! SVBC is leading the Second Annual Elected Officials Bike Ride that
morning in San Mateo County.

The ride will be between Menlo Park and County Center in Redwood City. The
general plan is:

   - Meet at 7:45 am
   - Do a mellow bike ride to with 1-4 stops at Energizer Stations and/or
   bike infrastructure
   - Wrap up around 8:45 am at County Center in Redwood City: 400 County

Let me know if you would like to join us. *You must be able to provide your
own bicycle*. It will be a very leisurely pace and a great way to celebrate
Bike to Work Day and feel the excitement and energy. We will be promoting
the event to the media.

Riders are free to leave the group at any point along the way. You can also hop
on Caltrain
<http://www.caltrain.com/riderinfo/Bicycles/Bicycle_General_Info.html> in
Redwood City with your bike after the ride.

I hope you will consider joining. Please email (emma_at_(domainremoved)
or call (408-287-7259, ext. 228 <(408)%20287-7259>) to sign up and let me
know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Emma Shlaes
