oak grove bike route

Hi, City Council.

As someone who regularly parks along Oak Grove east of El Camino during weekdays, and as someone who bikes along Oak Grove on the weekends, I have mixed feelings about this bike route, which calls for removing the parking on both sides of the street.

Reading the plan, I also note that it says 94 spaces will be removed, with 123 spaces remaining, so I would like clarification on which spots will remain. Are you referring to all those on side streets, which are often very full, particularly between Laurel and El Camino?

I often am driving at 8:30 - 8:45, right before M-A starts, and see few bicyclists. If you do a pilot, it would be great to get a count of bicyclists who are using the route.
