Oak Grove bike path pilot

A few months ago I provided a comment to the city council in my capacity as a trauma surgeon at Stanford Hospital regarding some of the hazards faced by our children when biking in our neighborhood. We do our community a disservice by not providing safer bike routes to school.

Menlo Park's first bike boulevard, Oak Grove<x-apple-data-detectors://2>, is in danger. Even though the City Council had already approved the Oak Grove pilot, they agreed to further study at the insistence of other neighbors complaining about loss of parking. This will postpone the pilot. Oak Grove is a pilot, please give it a chance to work and see how adjustments can be made.

Thank you for your attention to this.
