This is Margaret Monroe.
I am a long-time resident of Menlo park.
I only just yesterday found out that the VA is planning to CUT DOWN a number of OLD-DROWTH oak trees and heritage trees on their property on Willow Road -- just for parking lots and recreation areas!!
They intend to do this VERY soon -- I think during the work week that begins on Tues.l, May 31!!

PLEASE!!  STOP them from cutting donw those trees!  We NEED ALL those trees -- for oxygen, and for CO2 abnsorption, for shade and for beauty.
Do NOT let the VA cut down ANY trees!!
The VA MUST change their plans -- and MUST be ORDERED NOT to cut down ANY trees, especially OLD-growth and heritage trees!!
Thank you.
Margaret Monroe
