El Camino Real/ bikes/cars

In brief:

1) I strongly disagree with encouraging bikes on El Camino. It's so dangerous and neither Palo Alto nor Atherton or Redwood City have bike lanes on El Camino, so what's the purpose for such a relatively short distance. Let's make it safer for bikes to ride on our smaller streets. (Get rid of the street parking on University and Menlo for example and put bike lanes there).

2) Menlo Park is the only city that bottle-necks the traffic on El Camino. This is exactly why there is more cut-through traffic on our smaller streets (like University). Let's make El Camino 3 lanes to keep traffic moving and discourage cut-through.

Thank you,
